The McAllen car accident lawyers at Moore Law Firm were spotted at the CASA of Hidalgo 5K held in Edinburg to benefit the abused and neglected foster children in our community.
The event drew hundreds of runners, venders, and volunteers to Edinburg Municipal Park for a morning of fun and information.
“We love supporting CASA. Helping foster children is something that my staff and I genuinely care about, which is why when I told my staff that we’d be participating, all of them jumped at the chance to either help man our booth or go run,” said principal attorney, J. Michael Moore. “Our staff has always made it clear: if there’s a CASA event, we want to be there to help support our kids.”
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Hidalgo is the local program for the national volunteer movement that seeks to promote and support quality volunteer representation to provide local foster children with a safe, permanent, nurturing home.
At the end of the event, volunteers were treated to SWAG from various vendors, race runners were awarded medals, and Moore Law Firm raffled off a 65″ 4K television to one lucky winner from Edinburg.
