Courtney B. “Corky” Smith is a dedicated attorney and advocate with a proven track record of securing successful outcomes in both jury and non-jury trials. Now bringing his extensive expertise to the Moore Law Firm, Corky has spent over a decade handling complex civil litigation, Mass Torts, Multi-District, and Class Action cases nationwide. His diverse practice allows him to proudly represent a wide range of clients, from local municipalities and property owners to U.S. Veterans and their families.
In addition to his civilian practice, Corky serves as a Captain and Judge Advocate in the Mississippi Army National Guard, having deployed to Germany in support of the Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine. He holds an expansive geographic footprint with bar admissions across Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, Georgia, and North Carolina, as well as the United States Supreme Court. Corky earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Mississippi College School of Law and an LL.M. in Business Transactions from The University of Alabama School of Law.
Beyond the courtroom, Corky is deeply invested in his local community. He dedicates his free time to several charitable causes, including serving as a volunteer for the Salvation Army and Camp Rising Sun, a summer camp for cancer patients and survivors.
