In a story reported by Fox 5 Atlanta, a 5 year-old boy has been killed and two more children have been injured after a dog attack Tuesday morning in Southwest Atlanta.
According to the article, the attack happened around 7:00 AM by number of Pit Bulls that were not leashed at the children involved in the incident were walking toward a bus stop on their way to school. Police have arrested the owner of the pit bulls, Cameron Tucker, who could face involuntary manslaughter charges.
A bystander attempted to fend off the pit bulls with a baseball bat as other residents of the neighborhood joined in to save the three victims.

One of the survivors, 5-year-old Syrai Sanders was taken to the hospital and remains in critical condition.
Animal control now has custody of the dogs involved in the incident.
