Two Dr. Zamora Employees Arrested On Conspiracy Charges; Plead Not Guilty

Estella Santos Natera, who worked as a billing supervisor for Dr. Zamora, and Felix Ramos, who worked finances for the practice, were arrested on charges stemming from Dr. Zamora’s scheme to defraud government healthcare programs such as Medicaid.

Specifically, Santos Natera was charged with 1 count of Attempt and Conspiracy to Commit Mail Fraud, and 11 counts of Tampering with a Witness, Victim, or Informant, all felonies. Ramos was charged with 10 counts of money laundering, again all felonies.

Both employees pled not guilty to the charges and were released on bond on conditions of restricted travel, surrendering of their passports, restricted employment, as well as abstaining from alcohol/drugs and submission of alcohol/drug testing for Ramos.

New charges of obstruction and money laundering were also levied against Dr. Zamora and his wife, who was arrested earlier this month.

Dr. Zamora’s criminal case that has enveloped more defendants in the last month all originates from Dr. Zamora dangerously misdiagnosing numerous unsuspecting patients with degenerative diseases and prescribing potent drugs for their phantom illnesses.

What Should I Do If I You Were A Patient of Dr. Zamora?

If you were diagnosed with a degenerative disease such as rheumatoid arthritis and were prescribed potent drugs such as opioids or injectable chemotherapy, you MUST find a 2nd opinion as soon as possible.
